Wind Energy Asia (WEA) is the largest and most international wind event (exhibition and forum) in Taiwan, and one of the top in Asia-Pacific. It covers the whole range of products and services in the wind industry, both onshore, offshore and floating. Given the government's increasing localization requirements for the awarding of wind contracts, WEA's objective is to assist in building an entire wind industry supply chain in Taiwan, which could then extend to Asia-Pacific. Bucking the trend due to coronavirus, WEA 2020 grew by 50% and the organizer expects a similar expansion in 2021.
